Jackie steht in dieser verdammten Halle und denkt nach. Wo ist der Strand? Sie sagt: Ich brauche nur ein Handtuch. Und einen Strand. Sie denkt: Dann sauge ich die Wärme in meine DNA und spüre das feine Kribbeln beim Laden der Akkus. Jackie bewegt sich nicht. Die Halle schweigt. Jackie fragt: Was ist mein Job? Soll ich etwa diese verdammte Welt retten? Nein. Nein. Lass mal. Das ist viel zu groß für mich.

Also hör mal gut zu. Sagt Jackie zur Halle. Gerade vorhin wurde ich draußen wieder angeschrien. Einfach weil ich zu langsam war. Zu langsam da war wo die anderen zu schnell sein wollten. So viel Aggression. So viel Idiotie. Und diese gestressten Mutanten soll ich retten? Und all die anderen Neider. Die Karrieregeilen. Die Angsthasen. Die Demagogen. Die Szenespasties. Die Konsumhörigen. Wer braucht die? Damit es noch mehr Selfies und Foodies und Likes und gefakte Geschichten gibt? Nein. Ich will nur ein Handtuch. Und einen Strand. Für mich allein.

Die Halle schweigt noch immer. Doch wenn sie ganz genau hinhört, hört Jackie ein tiefes Seufzen. Als sie es kommentarlos als Zustimmung verbucht sagt die Stimme plötzlich:
Also hör mal zu. Du faselst doch die ganze Zeit von Liebe und Empathie. Und das Ding mit „Die Welt heilen“ hab ich auch mitbekommen. Jetzt lege ich Dir diese Welt zu Füßen und Du zögerst? Ich zögere nicht. Sagt Jackie. Ich weiß nur plötzlich nicht mehr ob die Menschen das gerettet werden wert sind. Sind sie. Sagt der Gang. Weiß ich nicht. Trotzt Jackie.Vielleicht ist es auf der Welt schöner ohne uns. Denkt Jackie und sagt: Ich hätte jetzt gerne ein Handtuch. Und einen Strand.
